We provide free service to fillet fish and return the usable parts (eg bones/head) to customers. We encourage customers to maximise their purchase by buying whole and use discarded parts (eg fish bone and head). Buying whole means cheaper price, making fish stock with discarded parts also translates to stretching the shopping budget and results in more delicious meals not discounting the fact that fish stock has a load of calcium!

The following are available, Kerapu (Grouper), Tenggiri (Mackerel) and Ikan Sebelah (Lemon Sole). Supply could be limited, please order in advance. Please indicate in shopping cart that you want fish processed to fillets.

To make delicious fish stock, boil fish bones & head with a thumb of crushed ginger. Simmer for an hour. Cool the stock till it is easier to handle (do not leave to stand for hours as stock could get 'fishy' very fast). Strain and store in container size that is just enough for each cooking portion. Defrost and use fish stock for instant soup base. To save storage space in freezer, reduce stock to half or less by rapid boiling.
