Groupa also called Rockies are local wild caught fish. The local name is Kerapu or Sek Pan (Cantonese). There are many types of Groupa. Ranging from the cheapest Kerapu Minyak (Yau Pan) to the pricey Kerapu Harimau (Lo Fu Pan) or the red groupa (Chet Sing Pan) or the Humpback Groupa (Lo Hsi Pan).
We offer the Round body groupa (Kerapu Bulat/Sek Pan Thung). Average fish size 3 to 4kg per fish. Fillet is with skin on and averages 250 to 450g per slice.
Groupa is suitable for steaming, pan fry or deep fry.
